Who are PBT Users?

Producer/Breeder = Seller; A producer user is anyone who wishes to sell an animal on the commercial web page. Sellers who are Gold Label Certified will be noted on each animal listed and will automatically receive ten dollars more than the highest bid price for the added value Gold Label Pets brings. Producers must sign up before listing any animal and will pay five dollars (at time of listing) for each animal listed. An additional five dollar fee is charged upon successful completion of an auction/sale.

Buyers will pay a $15.00 fee for each animal purchased. Any buyer purchasing an animal from a Gold Label Certified seller will automatically be charged (by the breeder) for an additional $10.00 for that animal and must bid knowing this. Stores may evaluate sellers by many criteria, including total animals sold, number of claims for seller, and successfully resolved issues, etc.

Shelter/Humane Society - All shelters/Humane societies may list on the PBT websites Humane page for no charge (up to thirty animals at any one time). Animals on the PBT Humane page are for adoption (with associated fees), as stipulated by the listor, or for a set amount. The PBT humane page is not an auction. A fee of $10.00 will be charged to the consumer for each animal purchased/traded/bartered/or given away on the PBT site. Shelters/Humane Societies, must microchip all animals for them to go through the PBT site and local or other ordinances about spay and neuter should be observed.

Producers using the Humane Page of PBT's website is someone who has an animal that is not being sold through the commercial side of PBT's website this might be an older puppy, one with minor (and disclosed) imperfections, over stock production etc. It will be at a set price (not auction) and must be over ten weeks of age, microchipped (neutering is encouraged). A fee of $10.00 will be charged to the purchaser of any animal sold through the PBT Humane Page.

Consumer - For consumers the PBT website offers the Humane Page. This page lists animals for sale or adoption by Humane Societies, animal shelters, and producers with animals (over ten weeks of age) that are over stocks, minor (and disclosed) defects, or not commercially saleable through PBT's commercial web page. Consumers must pay $10.00 for use of site if they purchase any animal through the humane page, in addition to costs or charges of the listing person (seller). Additional costs may include microchipping, transportation, etc. so buy accordingly.
